This page is devoted to various comments I have made upon the Scriptures. They are often more random and not necessarily by topic and are likely to "jump out of the box" from time to time. While exegesis is often used and is in fact the main goal, these writings are likely to include thoughts and references from other sources because they are more comments on the Scriptures rather than always reading out of the Scriptures. This is sometimes referred to as eisegesis. For this reason, these writings are sometimes less dogmatic than those found on the Expositions page. The purpose of these writings are for the assisting of a person's personal study of the Scriptures by bringing out various thought provoking points.
The following comments are those that I made when reading through books of the Bible three chapters at a time at an online study at the Living Waters Forums - which is no longer available. I hope they may be of some use.
